Have had for about four months & still think it's great!, August 2, 2011 By docpris (Seattle, WA) - See all my reviews This review is from: Sealy Precious Rest Crib & Toddler Mattress (Baby Product) i bought this mattress for my son's new toddler bed. i was a bit nervous buying a non-organic mattress ('cause i'm super picky) but i didn't want to shell out $300 for an organic toddler mattress pad we'll only use for another year or two. this fit my price range and had really good reviews.
i must say i was really pleasantly surprised upon unwrapping it from the plastic and finding there was NO chemical smell coming from it - totally unlike the really gross Organic Cotton Crib and Toddler Bed Mattress Pad i got to cover it, that reeked of chemicals & which i will be returning to babies-r-us. (Naturepedic doesn't use polyurethane, and is soft and durable and so worth the price. that's what i'll be getting to cover it when i return the other one.)
the mattress is kind of puffy with air right now (we're only on night two) and the waterproofing material makes it very slick and not snuggly, but nothing that a mattress pad and sheets didn't fix. i love this... Read more
