It is exactly what I was looking for. It really resembles the Bloom Alma mini crib (I mean almost exactly) and is significantly less expensive. Having said that, when looking at a mini crib, make sure that it is what you really need. We needed a crib to fit in our room, as my older son has not yet out grown his crib. I really didn't have the space for a standard crib in my room. Before doing some research, I had never heard of a "mini crib". I looked into bassinets, but they only last for a short time (3-4 months) and according to consumer reports are not held to the same strict standards that cribs must adhere to. I bought this crib with a 3 inch mattress "Dream on Me 3 Spring Coil portable crib Mattress". I originally was going to buy it with the mattress sold on the MDB website, but when reading further I realized that this crib is only compatible with a 3" mattress and can not accommodate a 5" mattress.
