Affordable Crib that Does Not Disappoint!, August 24, 2010 By Reilly's Mommy (East Islip, NY) - See all my reviews Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: Nursery 101 Concord Classic Crib, Classic White (Baby Product) I was looking for an inexpensive but quality crib for our youngest daughter and found the Nursery 101 Concord Classic. What a fantastic buy! It was easy to assemble, looks fabulous and is very solid in construction! We purchased the white color, which is a true white (not antique) and were very pleased. I highly recommend this crib to parents/grandparents who don't want to spend an arm and a leg but refuse to sacrifice quality. :o)

I'm almost 8 months pregnant and with the help of my 15year old daughter (because I couldn't wait for hubby to do it) we got it put together in about 30 minutes. With her holding the sides together and me screwing the screws in, it was a breeze. The entire fitting together only needed 16 screws and an allen key. There are 3 height levels for the mattress platform and it was recommended using the highest level for a newborn. I was a little concerned about the quality of the crib after taking them out of the box and feeling how light the sides were but once fitted together and screwed in tightly it was very sturdy.
As everyone else has stated the hardware is exposed but with the cherry color it is not very noticeable as you can see from the picture uploaded by Amazon. I've also uploaded a picture of the fitted product without the mattress since I've just ordered a mattress from Amazon and I'm... Read more

Good deal, but misleading description, June 30, 2011 PROS
The quality is great, the color is crisp, there were no scratches or dings, and I put it together (at 9 months pregnant) with my 6 yr old and 2 yr old (because Daddy was at work) with no problem in 1 hour. This crib is everything I wanted for my 3rd baby. I didn't want to spend a lot because I know the longevity of a crib. I didn't want to sacrifice style either. I wanted something classic that could go well in my son's room and not take away from her awesome bedding, which I actually spent more money on because quality bedding is a lot harder to pass off than a quality crib when we're talking about wood.
CONS
Like most things on Amazon, the description was misleading. I specifically searched for a crib with hidden hardware. I am weird and I think that having the bolts and screws showing makes an item look a lot cheaper than it needs to be.
